Thank you so much for your donation of a $25 gift card for the 2008 WMUR WinterFest Auction.  Your donation means so muct to the Waterville Valley Adaptive Program, all the participants, their families and our volunteers.  It takes a huge effort and commitment from so many people and we all appreciate your efforts to make the event such a huge success.

The Adaptive Program at Waterville Valley is growing and reaching more and more people with disabilities each year.  We have participants from teh local communities as well as visitors to the Valley from all over New England.  Each year participants and their families retrun for more fun on the slopes.  It is our utmost goal to be able to teach anyone who gets to our door, no matter what their disability, age, or ability to pay for our services.  We have the most up to date adaptive equipment available for them and continuously work with our crew of 80 volunteers to ensure they are trained to teach every disability type.  We are proud of the program and the services we are able to provide for those less fortunate.

Thank you again for helping us to reach our goal.  Your donation ensures the success of the event and thus the Adaptive Program.  If you are ever in the area, I wish you would stop by to visit us at the Program.

Dear Naomi:

I am writing to thank you very much for your company’s generous contribution to the Taunton Area School to Career, Inc. (TASC) 12thh Annual Business Recognition Celebration held on October 24th at the Chateau in Norton.  Our event was a huge success thanks in part to your support.

Your contribution became part of a very successful silent auction held during that event, the proceeds of which will go towards helping TASC meet its challenging funding needs for our current fiscal year.  This funding will enhance the vast array of programs we provide to our three partnership school districts — Bristol County Agricultural High School, Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical School, and Taunton.  The funding enables continuation of our many “school to career” programs including student internships, career mentor programs, job shadowing and other programs that foster work skills, academic achievement and career development for high school and middle school students.  We will continue to work towars our mission of connecting local employers with schools so that all students can be motivatied to learn, ready to work and able to make inofmred decisions for their future.  Your generosity will help ensure that TASC can continue to be a special bridge between schools and local businesses.

On behalf of Taunton Area School to Career, thank you for making us one of your charitable recipients.  Hopefully you will consider supporting us again in the coming year.

Sincerely,

Michael A. Cooper

Dear Ms. Shore,

Thank you for supporting the 11th Annual Men of Boston Cook for Women’s Health Gala Fundraiser on September 27th with your silent auction donation.

Since 1995 Men of Boston has been a critical source of funding for women’s health programs at two of Boston’s most respected community health centers, Codman Square Health Center and Dorchester House Multi-Service Center.

With your support and the support of so many others, nearly 1,000 guests were treated to an extraordinary array of food, music and auction.  Auction items ranged from Patriots, Red Sox and concert tickets to lunch with Boston’s Mayor, Thomas M. Menino.

By all accounts it was both a memorable and fun evening for all who participated, as well as a financial success.  Your donation helped to raise over $240,000 to serve women’s health needs at all stages of their lives.  We could not have done it without you and hope that you will visit our website www.menofboston.com/gallery for photos of this special evening.

Our CEOs, Bill Walczak of Codman Square Health Center and Joel Abams of Dorchester House Multi-Service Center, join members of our health centers and boards in sending our sincere thanks for your support.  Of course, we welcome feedback on the event.

Lastly, we hope you will save the date of September 25, 2008 for the 12th Annual Men of Boston Cook for Women’s Health Gals Fundraiser.

With warmest wishes and thanks,

Henry A. Goodrow, Chief Development Officer

Dear Ms. Shore:

We received your donation of a gift certificate, valued at $25.00, in support of “On the Town - A Night OUt with Old Colony Hospice.” Our success depends upon the generosity of good friends like you who believe in our mission and we want you to know how much we appreciate your support.

On November 8th, guests will enjoy a very worthwhile & fun evening “On the Town” - live music, wine tasting, scrumptious appetizers with a bistro flair, dessert, casino gaming tables (for non-cash prices), and a terrific silent auction (where your donation will come in to help us) are just a few of the things we have in the store.  There are terrific raffles too - trips, cash and lottery tickets.  This event has something for everyone.

Old Colony Hospice provides highly skilled, compassionate care to 100-110 patients and support to their loved ones.  Patients receive care at home or in a skilled nursing facility in 36 cities and towns in Bristol, Norfolk and Plymouth counties.  Donations to our non-profit organization ensure that patients receive the pain medications they need, home health services, and access to equipment such as a hospital bed and many other items to ensure their comfort during end of life care.  The support of organizations like yours makes an impact in the life of a patient today.

Sincerely,

Linda Werman, Development Manager
