Dear Bernie and Phyl:

On behalf of The Salvation Army, I am writing today to thank you for the contribution of the 125 new Sealy mattresses received on April 25, 2000 at our Harbor Light Adult Rehabilitation Center. We appreciate your compassionate gesture with the donation of these mattresses to our facility.

We appreciate your genuine care and are grateful to the new “Friends in Need Foundation.” We look forward to working with you in the future. If I can be of any assistance to you please fee1 free to contact me.

Thank you again, and may God bless you.

Dear Mr. Rubin,

The YWCA of Cambridge Family Shelter Program provides temporary housing and assistance to homeless families. Families reside at the shelter for different lengths of time, some only a few months others may be here for a year or more. Therefore, our program s& to provide a clean and safe environment for the families and thanks to your help we can continue to do this.

On behalf of the families and staff I would like to thank you for your generous donation of the two couches and oversized armchair. The two couches were placed in the family room at the Y site and replaced the old worn couches. The armchair was placed at our second site on Bigelow Street in the office/meeting area. The new furniture has created a welcoming, homelike atmosphere for the families. Thank you again for your generosity.

Sincerely,
