We are so grateful for your continued donations to the Brockton Area Deparment of Social Services Citizen’s Board Annual Golf Tournament.

We are extremely fortunate to have the support of our friends in the community.

Thanks to our sponsors, players, and all thsoe who purchased raffle tickets, we raised over $7,000.00.

This year we awarded a $500.00 scholarship to four wonderful young adults which will enable them to go onto college.  These young people have over overcome many hardships.  Their resilience is inspiring.  Your contribution will help them accomplish their goals.

Your donation supports our efforts serving the children and families in our area.  This fall, we will be hosting a Fall Fun Fest for the foster families.  In December, there will be a wonderful holiday party and in May, a much deserved foster parent appreciation banquet.  Thse events will not be possible without the funds raised at this event.  Your generosity truly makes a difference.

Thank you for your generous gift of $100.00 to the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk.  Your gift will directly benefit patient care and cancer research at ana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Your support encourages the thousands of walkers who take to the famed Boston Marathon route each fall to raise funds for Dana-Farber.  Your generousity also inspires the Institute’s physicians and scientists, who are leading the way to a new era in cncer care and research.  With your help, they are making the discoveries that are revealing cancer’s secrets - and putting those discoveries to work in new, more effective cancer therapies.

Bernie & Phyl’s Furniture’s contribution to the Fourth Annual Goodwill Invitational Golf Tournament makes Goodwill stronger and more effective in helping local individuals overcome personal hardships and buld the skills, confidence and experience to get into the workforce, develop a career path and live lives of independence and dinity.  It also helps us sustain and build our youth programs, providing youth with great potential but limited opportunities support in academics leadership, college and career develpment, and more.
