Thank you again, for helping us help those less fortunate.

Norton, MA 02766Dear Naomi,

As abbot of Glastonbury Abbey, I would like to thank Bernie & Phyl’s for being an auction donor for the 2007 Golf Tournament and Auction.  We were elated with the outcome of the tournament and grateful to our great committee who brought it all to fruition.

Needless to say, the revenue from the tournament will help us meet capital expenses at the Abbey so I am more than grateful for your support.  Your donation of a $25.00 gift certificate enhanced our auction a great deal and for that we are very grateful.  Non-profits cannot exist in today’s world without the generosity of donors such as you.

Please know how much I appreciate your continued support and generosity.  We could not continue to live our mission without it.  I do hope you will once again join us at Hatherly Country Club in 2008.  Enjoy the summer months.  Please extend my gratitude and best wishes to Peter.

Sincerely,

Nicholas J. Morcone, OSB

Bernie & Phyl’s helps raise money to assist Katrina Relief efforts

Dear Supporter,

Thank you so much for your recent donation to our Silent Auction Fundraiser for Katrina Relief.  We made over $7500 at our event!  Our team of 25 students and adults will be going to New Orleans July 8-14.  The money raised through the silent auction will be used to help cover the expenses of bringing that group to New Orleans.

Last summer our team of students and adults went to New Orleans and spent their time gutting homes.  This year we are excited to go back to assist in the rebuilding of the area.  We anticipate having the opportunity to help rebuild homes and public spaces such as parks and schools.  As a contributor to our silent auction, please consider yourself a partner in these efforts.

Thank you again for your generosity!

Sincerely,

Suzan Culver
Coordinator of Sr. High Ministries
