Dear Ms. Shore:
Well — we did it!
The 2nd Annual Amazing Grace Charity Golf Tournament held on Friday, September 15 in Boston was a resounding success. Over $18,00 was raised and 96 golfers and over 130 people attended the luncheon. Your contribution and thoughts were greatly appreciated by all who participated and helps to fund family support activities adn research through the Trisomy 18 Foundation.
The tournament was a wonderful celebration of the amazing licious daughter who has been diagnosed wiht full Trisomy 18, Grace is now 3 years old and has started preschool. Her exceptional progress includes walking, doing sign language, learning to talk, and even starting to ride her tricycle.
During the next year, Trisomy 18 will move forward with key inititives such as launching the Trisomy 18 Research Consortium. The Consortium will gather parents and leading clincal researchers and scientists together to define research grants that will identify better answers for the causes of Trisomy 18 syptoms and effective treatments. Our new brochure is enclosed to provide updates on their activities.
Again, we truly appreciate your support and thoughtfulness. To put feeligns into positive action is a power antidote for strengthening our determination to find a cure for Trisomy 18. Thank you for yoru contribution of $25 Gfit Certificate taht went a long way to making our event victorious.
Sincerely,
Victoria Miller, Executive Director
