Dear Sir or Madam:

On behalf of St. Stephen’s Memorial Episcopal Church and our Fair Donations Solicitation Chair Emma Gardiner, I’d like to thank you for your contribution of a Gift Certificate fo $25.00 to support the St. Stephen’s Church Fair.  The Fair will be November 18, 2006.  We hope that you will come shop, eat, buy a raffle, and enjoy e festive spirit of the Fair.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 through the Fair this year, which is a daunting task.  your generosity helps us toward our goal and encourages us to keep ooking for community-minded people like you.  Thank you for your support.

The money from the Fair will help support the ministry of St. Stephen’s Church.  St. Stephen’s is a multi-cultural, multe-ethnic, multi-lingual parish on the Common in downtown Lynn. From Sunday and mid-week worship in English adn Swahili to our weekly Food Pantry and Christmas Gifts for the Needy; from Church School, Bible Study, Yourth Group and summer camp to recovery groups and fellowship at My Brothers’ Table; from the Fair, Caribbean Festival and Sout Food Dinner to community building in the neighborhood and organizing in the schools, we seek to live our faith.  We also provide office, meeting, and classroom space for ECCO, E-Team, AA, NA, AARP, and the Connery School Annex.

St. Stephen’s is committed to the community and it is extremely heartening when local businesses affirm our commitmentby supporting the work we do.

Thank you very much for your Gift Certificate.  Your generous support of the fair really makes a difference.

With Gratitude,

(The Rev.) Jane Soyster Gould
Rector, St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church
