Dear Bernie and Phyl’s,

Thank you for your donation of a gift certificate to the Leicester Memorial School Parent Teacher Assocation, a Massachusetts organization recognized under section 501(c)(3) number 0990 of the IRS tax code.  Your estimated value of the donated item was $50.  This generous donation was auctioned off at our Playground Auction on Saturday, April 8th, 2006 with great success to help us raise monies to build a playground for the eicester Memorial School students and the community of Leicester.  We reached our goal of $28,000 to construct “Phase One” of our playgroudn and are looking to complete this project by the fall of 2006.  On behalf of the students o Leicester Memorial School, thank you for your support!

Dear Naomi Shore,

Thank you for your donation of a $25 Gift Certificate to Bernie & Phyl’s Furniture to teh Kesher Community Hebrew School After School’s auction.  Your generous donation helped us reach our fundraising goal of $18,000 for our non-profit after school program.

We also managed to achieve our secondary goal of increased exposure, something we hope will benefit your business as well.  This year’s auction, held wholy on-line, allowed us to reah out to far more people that in previous years.  In fact, our site received more than 9000 hits over the course of the event!

Dear Ms. Shore,

Thank you for your generous donation to the North Shore Arc’s 10th Annual WALK & Family Celebration.  We appreciate your continued support in bringing needed services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families by supporting our WALK & Family Celebration.  The day was fun for everyone, and for the first time in three years, the sun was shining!  Our total isn’t finalized at this point, but we are certain that we collected over $38,000, all of which will go to continuing to support our programs.

This year the Arc is celebrating over 50 years service to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.  Over the past half a century, the North Shore Arc has become a leader in residential, vocational, and support services.  Your generosity helps the North Shore Arc create options in the home, community, and work; provide services for families and individuals; and help people with developmental disabilities succeed.
