Donation to Main Dunstable Elementary School

Bernie & Phyl’s,

Thank your for your recent donation to the Main Dunstable Elementary School Spring Fling Raffle. This annual fair was held on Wednesday, May 14th and was attended by hundreds of students, their families and the MDES staff. The Raffle table was filled with nearly sixty items from local Nashua businesses and MDES families.

It has always been, and continues to be one of our most popular attractions. The raffle winners were chosen at the end of the evening and there were many happy people in the crowd. It is your generosity that helped make our Spring Fling such a success once again.

Thank you very much.

Sincerely,

Bernie & Phyl’s helps raise funds for cancer research

Dear Merchants & Sponsors,

On August 4.2003 the 3rd annual “Peter St. Clair Memorial Golf Tournament” took place at the Ould Newbury Golf Club. The tournament raised over $11,000 for cancer research. Approximately 70 Golfers took to the course for the event and 100 attended the tournament luncheon.

This golf tournament was established in memory of Peter St. Clair. who lost his life to cancer at the age of fifty-four. All proceeds go directly to benefit Massachusetts General Hospital for research of lung cancer (Bronchial Alveolar Carcinoma).

The St Clair family and the Tournament Committee would like to extend our most sincere thanks to you for your Sponsorship/Donations in support of this year’s event. It is your generosity that helped make the tournament such a great success.

Recognition for your support of this worthwhile event has been included in a note of -’Special Thanks” published in the local newspaper.

Thank you again your support and encouragement.

Our Lady of Nazareth Academy thanks Bernie & Phyl’s Furniture

Norton, MA 02766

Dear Naomi:

Our largest fundraiser of the year, ‘Cruising at the OLN Auction was held at Our Lady of Nazareth Academy on Saturday, October 25, 2003. As you recall, Our Lady of Nazareth Academy is a non-profit, independent Catholic All-Girls High School established in 1949 located in Wakefield, MA. Our Lady of Nazareth Academy receives NO financial support from the Archdiocese of Boston, local or state tax revenues. It exists solely on tuitions/donations and fundraising which directly benefits our students and school.

Even in a year with a depressed economy, uncertainty in world markets, and war in our world; with your generous donation and support, this year’s “Cruise themed” Auction was a most successful event. We raised $44,000! After expenses, $40,000 will be returned to the school to continue to meet educational and activity expenses for the 2002-2003 school year.

The event was well publicized throughout the OLN family and to news media outlet in the 30 communities that send students to the Academy. . Your donation was recognized in our auction program and hopefully families and friends of the Academy will support and patronize your business.

Once again, thank you for your support of Our Lady of Nazareth Academy. We are most grateful and blessed to have your help in the education of our young women of the future.

Sincerely,

Paula .C. Black
Auction Chairwoman

Your kindness is greatly appreciated…

Dear Friend.

We are well on our way to making our dream of assisting deserving students in their educational pursuits a reality. Last year, we awarded 13 scholarships to graduating high school seniors from around the Merrimack Valley. Now, thanks to people like you we will be able to continue our scholarship fund this year and. hopefully, for many years to come. We at the The Stacy Stott Memorial Fund would like to thank you for your generous donation this year. Whether your donation was in the form of cash, a gift certificate or items used to run our 2nd Annual benefit, your kindness is greatly appreciated.

As you may recall from previous correspondences, Stacy was a vibrant, beautiful, young woman whose life was cut tragically short in an automobile accident. She was a well- rounded individual who possessed an extraordinary amount of dedication, leadership, and spirit. She was kind to others and was an inspiration to many. She affected hundreds of people in her short lifetime. It is our continued goal to ensure that her legacy be carried on to touch the lives of others for many years to come.

The Stacy Stott Memorial Fund will continue to award scholarships to graduating seniors Andover High School, Chelmsford High School, Dracut High School, Greater Lowell vocational Technical High School, Lowell Catholic High School. Lowell High School. Methuen High School, Tewksbury High School, and Celebrity All Stars. In addition donations have and will be made to the Lowell High School dance program in an effort to sustain this program for Lowell High School students.

Recipients of the first annual scholarships illustrated some of the characteristics that defined Stacy: motivation, dedication to education and extra-curricular activities, leadership skills, and a desire to make a difference in the lives of others. We will continue to reward young adults who possess these valued characteristics.

Please accept our warmest thanks for your assistance in helping us continue the legacy of spirit and kindness that Stacy began in her lifetime.

Sincerely,

The Senior Sport Memorial Fund Committee

Donation to Salem Animal Rescue League

Dear Supporter,

On behalf of the Salem Animal Rescue League, I would like to express our deepest gratitude for your support of the Whiskers and Tails Auction held on May 1, 2004. By any account, the evening was a huge success and, hopefully, it was also full of enjoyment for everyone who attended!

We, at the Salem Animal Rescue League, are overwhelmed both by the sheer number and by the generosity of all our supporters. The wide array of quality items and services donated, many of which were one-of-a-kind, made it possible to create beautiful displays. The numerous bidders participated with an open heart and a generous hand.

Thanks to you, the shelter was able to raise a total over $60,000 for the evening!

Needless to say, we are thrilled with the outcome. We also want to assure you that 100% the funds raised at the Whiskers and Tails auction will go directly to the support and care of our animals.

Once again, thank you for your wonderful generosity in supporting the Salem Animal Rescue League!

Please come and visit us at one of our scheduled Open Houses, and check our website for shelter updates and upcoming events.

Remember to save a date for the next Whiskers and Tails Auction in the Fall of 2005!

Sincerely,

Lori J. Betrand
President Salem Animal Rescue League
