Dear Ms. Shore:

On behalf of our 2005 Gala Chairman, Charles Baker of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, our Board of Directors, Staff and Customers, I sincerely thank you for your generous donation in support of our 13″ Annual Awards Gala. The gala was held on Saturday, April 9, 2005 at the World Trade Center Boston and was a great success for us! Approximately 850 people were informed about our programs and inspired by our honorees.

The Silent Auction was a highlight for many of our guests. Your donation of a gift certificate valued at $50 helped us raise a record $450,000 for our programs and services! We proudly thanked and advertised your company with public announcements, on signs, on our website and in our program booklet. Many of our guests enjoyed the “high-quality” assortment and left no item unsold!

Again, thank you for friendship and support. We realize there are many organizations that you could choose to support, and we are honored and delighted that you have selected the ULEM. There are many rewards to giving, but none as rewarding as knowing that you have substantially contributed to improving our society.

Please mark your calendar for our 141h Annual Awards Gala, scheduled for Saturday, April 8, 2006 and we hope that you will support us next year!

For further information, please contact Evelyn Norman, Development Manager at: (617) 442-4519 ext. 236 or visit us at: www.ULEM.org.

Dear Ms. Blumenthal:

It was a pleasure to have met you earlier in June at Fenway Park when Bernie Rubin of Bernie & Phyl’s Furniture sponsored some of The Home for Little Wanderers children to participate in the Baseball Buddies Program. I assure you the staff and kids had a great time during the fun filled activities at the ballpark. Thank you for the part you played in helping make the event happen that brought lots of joy to children in need.

The Home has many opportunities for corporate and/or employ generated support. It is my pleasure to share these opportunities with you. I look forward to following up with you in the near future to discuss the current state of The Home and develop a plan to sustain the critical work being accomplished with our children and families.

Please let me know, in the interim, if there is anything I can do to help further the relationship between Blumenthal Associates and The Home for Little Wanderers. I can be reached at (617) 927-0677 or via email at swarrinnton (at) thehome.org. For more information on The Home, please visit our website at www.thehome.orq.

Boston Public Health Commission thanks Bernie & Phyl’s Furniture

Ms. Amy Blumenthal

Dear Ms. Blumenthal,

I am writing on behalf of the Boston Public Health Commission to thank you and Bernie and Phyl’s Furniture for the kind donation of two bureaus to one of the low income families in our Healthy Homes programs. As you know, this family was in the process of relocating due to unsanitary and over crowded conditions in their apartment. These conditions were exacerbating their young son’s asthma, causing him frequent hospitalizations and emergency room visits. Now, thanks to your generosity, the family has been moved to a renovated two bedroom apartment with two new pest-free bureaus to store their clothes.

An inspector on my staff recently visited the family and was commenting on how beautiful the dressers are. I know the family is thrilled arid appreciates your donation. I also want to thank your assistant Naomi for her role in coordinating the delivery of the furniture.

Very truly yours,

Emily M. Litonjua
Sr. Program Manager

Dear Sir or Madam, I’m writing you today to express our sincere gratitude for your support of the 11th annual Nashua Fireman’s Relief Golf Tournament. Thanks to you and many others in and around our community, we were able to raise in excess of $15,000 at this year’s event to benefit the New England Children’s Bum Camp.

In addition to the monetary donations, we were also fortunate to receive a special donation from Percussion Software - a new electric golf cart for the camp!

A golf cart had been a wish list item for several years at the camp to assist some of the more disabled campers.. It certainly was another great year for the kids!

In closing, thank you for your support! We are always trying to improve the event for our participants as well as those of you who support it.

Sincerely,

Karl Gerhard

Dear Friend:

On behalf of the Cheryl Chagnon Lymphoma Research Fund Inc., I would like to take to this opportunity to thank you for your generous contribution to this year’s Dinner For a Cure fundraiser that was held on April 30,2005 at the Natick Elks. The dinner was a huge success! Attended by over 200 guests we hosted an all you can eat pasta dinner with a silent auction, many raffle items and door prizes and raised more than ever before.

The dinner was attended by Dr.’s David T. Scadden of Massachusetts General Hospitals Research Lab. We had the remarkable opportunity of presenting him with a check in the amount of $29,900 for the purchase of “Real-time PCR” machine that measures the amount of a specific gene or gene product with high precision. This will have a tremendous impact on Leukemia and Lymphoma research.

Last year we donated $26,000 to Massachusetts General Hospital to continue funding the second stage of his research aimed at increasing stem cell production. It is truly a wonderful opportunity for an organization like ours to provide support that will benefit cancer patients in the greater Boston area. This would not have been possible without your support and generosity.

Our organization currently holds two fundraisers a year, our Dinner for a Cure and our participation as a team in the SBLI Falmouth Road Race held in August. Through these two events we hope to continue to raise awareness and funds for blood cancer and it’s research. We remain committed to helping improve cancer treatments and technology for those in our community who will battle cancer.

Thank you again for generosity and continued support.

Sincerely,

Cheryl Chagnon, President

Dear Friend of MedFlight:

Thank you for your generous support of our 20th Anniversary Celebration Gala. On June 2nd, 2005, more than 450 friends and supporters of Boston MedFlight honored the twenty year history of this organization during a special evening at the Seaport Hotel in Boston.

The event sewed to recognize the difference Boston MedFlight makes in people’s lives. In addition, attendees attested to the wisdom of the founding members and watched a touching video marked by testimonials from several individuals and families. I am delighted to report that the event raised more than $270,000 and significantly increased public awareness of our organization.

We would like to thank you for your donation of a gift certificate for our evening’s silent and live auctions. This letter will serve as your tax receipt.

We are truly grateful for your generosity. In the future, we must continue to rely on the kindness of individuals and organizations like yours for the significant resources needed to continue to serve communities throughout New England.

Best Regards,

Dear Naomi,

Thanks so much for sponsoring the Yelle Elementary School Walk-A-Thon to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Family and friends gathered on a perfect Saturday morning & with your help raised over $7,000.

Your donation of a $25 gift certificate helps MDA provide diagnostic and follow-up care at our hospital-affiliated clinics, assistance with the purchase and repair of wheelchairs and leg braces, physical, occupational and respiratory therapy consultation, assistance with the purchase of communication devices, medical and scientific conferences, and much more. Other services provided by the Association that make life better for families MDA serves include support groups, loan closets, and MDA’s summer camp program for children.

Your support will also help the Association build upon the exhilarating research progress we’ve experienced in recent years and witness even more exciting developments in the near future.
