Dear Naomi,

Thanks very much for your donation in support of our 13th Annual Charity Golf Tournament: a $25 gift Certificate to your fine furniture store, which we used in our raffle. On behalf of the Board of Directors, staff and especially the youth and families helped by the proceeds, know that we are most grateful for your support.

Your generosity along with that of our sponsors, donors and golfers helped us raise roughly $14,000, a wonderful amount! A copy of our program, with an acknowledgment of your support, is enclosed. We hope you take pride in knowing you helped make it happen.

We are always eager to improve our Golf Tournament and other fundraising efforts. If you have ideas, or wish to discuss new ways for your own involvement, please feel free to contact any one of us or Development Director Dan LeBrun (tel.: 508-226-1015, fax: 508-226-6917) We certainly hope you will continue to be a valued Tournament contributor in the future.

Again, thanks. We are truly grateful for your partnership that benefits New Hope’s Big Brothers Big Sisters program, along with our other critically needed programs, as it also demonstrates your support of our often lifesaving work.

Thank you for your support of Taunton Catholic Schools

Dear Bernie & Phyl’s Furniture,

Thank you for your support of the 2005 Taunton Catholic Schools Auction and Dinner Dance. Our goals were to hold a fun event for the Taunton Catholic Schools community and to raise funds to benefit the Mission of the four schools. To maintain the quality of education and standards at the school, we depend on a variety of fundraisers and the generosity of people like you.

The event was a tremendous success as we met both goals. Over 350 people enjoyed dinner and dancing at the Auction on April 30th and we raised just under $60,000.00 for the Taunton Catholic Schools. The funds are already being put to good use in each school by purchasing new equipment and improving technology - all in support of the education of our students.

Your Auction Donation was crucial to our success and is appreciated by all at The Taunton Catholic Schools. So, once again, Thank you for your contribution of a Gift Certificate to Bernie and Phyl’s valued at $25.00.

We hope that you will be able to help us at next year’s event as we build on this year’s success.

Sincerely,

Deborah Smith

Dear Ms. Shore:

Thank you for your donation of a $25.00 Gift Certificate toward the raffle at The New England Center for Children/Dunkin’ Donuts Eighth Annual Golf Classic.

Proceeds from this year’s Golf Classic will go toward the Annual Fund at NECC, which allows us to provide much of the vital equipment that helps each of our students reach his or her goals to attain greater independence. Support from individuals, corporations and foundations have made a tremendous impact on the quality of life for children at NECC.

Here are some examples of what the Annual Fund has allowed us to provide for our students:

* Computers and software
* Upgrades to existing computer equipment
* Furnishings for our group residences
* Gym equipment
* Extensive refurbishment of 14 group homes
* Serving line equipment in our cafeteria, where our student workers serve lunch each day
* Playground and recreational equipment
* Personal Assistive Communication Devices

Your support allows us to expand and improve our facilities, programs, and learning materials in order to provide a superior learning and growth experience for the students we serve. Thank you!

Sincerely,

Dear Naomi,

We want to thank you for your donation to the Greater Worcester Habitat for Humanity Raising the Roof dinner auction held on April 14, 2005. The event was a great success, with over 200 local business leaders and other Habitat supporters attending. Please note that GWHFH is a 501(c) 3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax deductible to the extent allowable by law.

The money raised from the event will be used to provide a home for two families in the Greater Worcester area. This winter we completed a duplex to house the DeSoto family and the Culross family. The parents and the six children are now in a safe and decent home, which will provide a stable environment for their lives to unfold.

The Greater Worcester Habitat for Humanity began serving communities in Central Massachusetts in 1985, and has built homes for twenty-three low-income families in the Greater Worcester area. Our mission is to create decent homes in good communities by working in continuing partnership with people in need who are committed and able to become homeowners. Habitat believes that the greatest means to assist families is by providing them with a home ownership opportunity. Simple, decent, and affordable housing can have a profound impact on stabilizing a family and providing for long-term security. The Habitat program is one of empowerment: a hand up, not a hand out. With growing support of the community and businesses like yours, we are increasingly able to offer low income families an interest free mortgage and a chance for a new life in their very own home.

We sincerely thank you for your donation.

Sincerely, The Auction Committee

Furniture donation to Child & Adolescent Mental Health Program

Dear Bernie and Phyl:

I am writing on behalf of all the children and staff members on Unit 1 to thank you for your generous donation of the oak table and chairs set for our new Conference Room. The Conference Room was expressly planned with the idea of a private, peaceful area apart from the general unit that could be used for admissions, talking groups, and meetings with families.

Your gift has defined the look of the room as just such a place. We are using it already, and we all love it!

Sincerely,
