Dear Phyllis and Bernie:

On behalf of the individuals and families who visit The Wellness Community - Greater Boston, I thank you for your generous donation of 3 club chairs. The thoughtfulness of your donation helps to make our space a warm and comforting environment for our participants. We are most grateful for your kindness!

As you know, The Wellness Community moved into a beautiful new space in Newton Upper Falls last summer. Hundreds of individuals and families living with cancer visit The Wellness Community each month and rely on us to help see them through the emotional, psychological, social and philosophical issues that surround a cancer diagnosis. Please know your gift helps The Wellness Community to instill hope in those who are in the fight of their lives.

All of The Wellness Community programs are offered completely free of charge. Your kindness ensures that we will be able to continue providing support, education and hope to individuals and families living with cancer.

With sincere appreciation,

Cherry Muse

Dear Naomi:

The Friends of Alvirne Ice Hockey would like to thank you for your donation of a $50.00 gift certificate to our auction, held on November 15, 2003. We raised almost $5,000.00 that went directly to putting Alvirne High School’s first ever varsity hockey team on the ice!

Without the generous support of the community, we would not have achieved our goal. Again, we would like to thank you for your contribution and your support. The Friends of Alvirne Ice Hockey’s tax ID number is 32-007166. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Melissa Cormier at 881-4997.

Sincerely,

Casey St. Laurent

Dear Naomi:

Thank you so much for your generous support of the First Annual Celebration of Giving. We appreciate your contribution of a $50 gift certificate. Your donation added so much to our; display of auction items, and helped to raise over $450,000 for the thousands of children served by the child welfare agencies that benefit from The Rodman Ride for Kids.

The competitive bidding generated from your auction item benefited families and children served by Lazarus House, a non-profit, non-sectarian shelter that operates out of Lawrence, Massachusetts, one of the poorest communities in our country. For 20 years, Lazarus I House has been able to provide emergency food, clothing, temporary shelter, job training, care, hot meals, outreach and advocacy to those in need because of people like you. Lazarus House offers shelter with 31 beds and seven cribs; a soup kitchen and thrift store; medical and dental clinic; a house for homeless people with HIV or AIDS; and job training ‘: programs.

Through counseling, proper health care, education, pre-employment programs, and the operation of three residences, Lazarus House staff empower families and individuals to break the cycles of poverty, abuse and neglect and help them build secure and independent lives to become productive members of our community.

Again, our heartfelt thanks for your kindness and all you did to help make the holidays brighter for thousands of children and families.

Warmest Regards,

Kathy Cronin

Donation to Guild of St. William and St. John’s Preparatory School

Dear Friend,

Thank you for contributing a $50 gift certificate to Bernie & Phyl’s Furniture. Your contribution is considered a charitable donation, which may be tax deductible. The nonprofit tax ID number for your donation to the Guild of St. William is 042-104-875.

We sincerely thank you for supporting the Guild of St. William. Your commitment to the St. John’s Rep community is truly appreciated
