On behalf of the Massachusetts Brain Injury Association (MBIA), we would like to thank you for donating the Bernie & Phyl’s gift certificate for our raffle table at our lst Annual All Star Comedy Night which took place on Wednesday, October 1, 2003 at the Comedy Connection at Faneuil Hall, Boston. Because of your generous donation, this Comedy Night was a very successful event and enjoyed by all.

Your support to the MBIA allows us to continue our efforts to meet the needs of survivors, their families and the community. To meet their needs MBIA:

* Offers a variety of programs and services that help survivors and families through every step of the recovery process.
* Provides information about available resources.
* Advocates on behalf of survivors and their families to ensure that they have adequate resources.
* Supports community activities, organizations and programs that help survivors reach their highest possible level of function and independence.
* Offers ongoing information and help through support groups, educational programs, the telephone InfoLine and quarterly newsletters.
* Promotes community awareness through targeted prevention programs that are credited with increasing awareness of traumatic brain injury (TBI) and decreasing behaviors that often cause TBIs.
* Supports legislation related to brain injury.
