In the days and weeks that followed the horrific events of September 11, 2001, the compassion and strength of businesses and individuals in the New England Region rose to meet the challenges and needs presented and have remained steadfast.

Unsolicited offers of support and assistance poured forth in a variety of forms. These gestures of generosity and kindness knew no boundaries as they were extended to blood donors, American Red Cross - New England Region staff, and the direct victims of September 11th alike.

On behalf of the American Red Cross Blood Services - New England Region, the American Red Cross National system, and the patients and public we serve, I thank you for your donation of television advertising time and willingness to support our efforts at this critical time. We are grateful for your help as we continue to carry ‘ out our mission to assist those in need.
